    FAQ (Charter) version 1.1
So, you’ve found your way into the MM board. Welcome! This board is for discussing all things Massively Multiplayer of the online games. You’ve already sussed out the rest of the Boards.ie so you know what kind of behavior is expected from you in this forum.

Here’s a few answers to questions you may have about this board.

    What are Massively Multiplayer games?

Massively multiplayer == graphical mud. Simple.

64 people playing on a server isn’t considered massively multiplayer, that’s why Battlefield 1942 has its own board.

These games suck, do you really have to pay each month to play them?

Yes. Unless you are a beta whore and are testing the game for free.

How do I get into these beta tests?

First you must find the Shroud of Secrecy +10 which will help you get into the Chasm of Terror un-noticed where you will battle … no, you just keep up to date with all the MMORPG news on the interweb and fill out all the beta applications you can get.

Everquest is so much better than Ultima Online.

Ok, everyone is entitled to an opinion but don’t start flaming this board with endless threads about game-X being better than game-Y and how the game-Y player’s mother is … well you know. You’ve been warned.

You speak of these cheats, where can I find them?

Unlike Counter Strike, Cheating in MMORPG games is considered wrong and will promptly get you banned from any game server out there. You may not even get your fee back if you paid for the game account in advance. Threads discussing cheating and bug exploiting in mmorpg games will be deleted immediately and other respected action will be taken towards the poster.

Haha, you guys are nerds. Get a girlfriend! Get a job!

Only I may call the nerds, nerds. Anyway, most people here have that someone special (in Azeroth) and to afford to play the game, they need some kind of a job to keep paying their subscriptions.

That’s about it for version 1.1. Follow the basic principles of boards.ie and this FAQ and you will soon be Level 60 wizard mage princess of the underworld.
