Hi all,
Vanilla are planning an update to the site on April 24th (next Wednesday). It is a major PHP8 update which is expected to boost performance across the site. The site will be down from 7pm and it is expected to take about an hour to complete. We appreciate your patience during the update.

    Hey Guys,

    Not sure about the cost of these things as its new to us.

    Does this all seem the norm.

    Existing house measured and drawings prepared €900.00
    Topographical survey €775.00
    Perc Test €1100.00
    Complete and submit planning application
    - plans, elevations of house, site layout plans and site sections, planning doc's €2000.00

    Fire on vat at 23%.

    Before any green field new builders jump in. Let’s assume from the op this is an existing building. Hence existing surveys etc apply.

    Is this an extension project? Fees don't look unreasonable from the information you have provided.

    yes an extension of 1200sq ft and remodelling of the existing structure which is 800 sq ft.

    i thought it seemed reasonable too.
