I saw a clip of a parent using a small racing car harness in conjunction with the regular seat belt, possible connected to the Isofix points, has anyone tried anything like that?

Incarsafetycentre in Belfast might have a solution. Ring them you can order online or over the phone. They offer free delivery over £50.
