Vanilla are planning an update to the site on April 24th (next Wednesday). It is a major PHP8 update which is expected to boost performance across the site. The site will be down from 7pm and it is expected to take about an hour to complete. We appreciate your patience during the update.

    Finishing off an MA in English in UCC, did my BA in Maynooth. Taking a year off then hoping to do a PhD, but I'm unsure where I'm going to do it.

    Starting an MA in Development in DCU come September.
    Possibly the worst named masters ever, as develoment could be developing anything.
    It's international development, poverty related stuff.

    O rly? I was offered a place but didn't want it, doesn't seem to mix disciplines enough. Joe Cleary is in charge of it though isn't he? Nice guy, gave me my reference and was always very helpful. Good luck btw!

    I applied to Trinity to do a post grad in social work, the interview was way back in March. I have tried to get in contact with them, but they havent returned my calls! Should i take it that no news is good news? Has anyone else applied for social work for the 2009/2010 session?

    I am thinking of doing this course. How are you finding it? Whats the work load like? I studied a lot of Emerson in my undergrad and found it very hard going. Is there a lot of work out there? sorry for the million questions

    My brain is fried, eyes rolling in the back of my head, and I'm still in college at 1.47 on a friday night/ saturday morning.

    I'm doing a PhD in computer science in NUIM... hoping to finish this side of 2010. Waiting for a reviewers to get back to me on a journal paper... if it gets the go ahead then its full steam ahead.
