Hi all,
Vanilla are planning an update to the site on April 24th (next Wednesday). It is a major PHP8 update which is expected to boost performance across the site. The site will be down from 7pm and it is expected to take about an hour to complete. We appreciate your patience during the update.

    I’ve access to the library as an external user to complete assignments due in the next few months, but that lasts until the start of May. In the meantime while I await my application to extend that for another few months, I s there anywhere else in campus where I could bring my iPad & books, set up shop and type away without getting in the way? Right now my only options seems to be Starbucks or home, and those access hours and/or distractions will really eat into my writing time.

    Lecture halls in the university or classrooms on concourse will be open.

    Upstairs in the Cairns building is good, not sure about the opening hours though
