Hi all,
Vanilla are planning an update to the site on April 24th (next Wednesday). It is a major PHP8 update which is expected to boost performance across the site. The site will be down from 7pm and it is expected to take about an hour to complete. We appreciate your patience during the update.

    Exam papers are not to be posted. This includes any exam paper from the current year, including "mocks". No hints, either. Don't ask and don't tell.

    - DON'T DO IT.

    Advertising
    - Topics/posts that contain this will be both edited and locked. If you wish to buy ad space, contact DeVore.

    Flaming
    - Posts containing personal attacks on another user will be edited/deleted.

    Spamming
    - Topics/posts that are just complete nonsense will be deleted.

    Racism
    - Topics/posts containing such will be edited/deleted accordingly.

    Porn
    - Topics/posts containing such will be deleted on sight.

    If you're advertising grinds please post in the appropriate thread stickied at the top of the page, all new threads advertising grinds will be deleted.

    Another thing which is very important but I realised hadn't been in the charter to date, alt accounts used to circumvent a ban or for spamming will get you BANNED from the forum.

    All advertisements will be deleted and the poster banned, unless they're grinds in which case they'll be moved to the appropriate Grind thread and the original post will then be deleted.

    I have updated the first post in the unlikely event that people were reading only the first post of the charter, and not the second (I could be so optimistic to assume that anyone even reads the chater...).

    I'll say it again here:

    Do not use text speak on this forum. You have a full keyboard and a character limit you're unlikely ever to exceed. Using text speak is plain laziness at the expense of the other people who have to struggle to understand your gibberish. It makes life hell for the moderators, and being able to spell might help you one day, you know, maybe in your Junior Cert.

    A special forum for dispute resolution has been set up and can be found here. If you have any issue with a moderator's decision, follow the dispute resolution procedure as outlined in the forum. The chain of command goes Moderator->CMod->Admin. Jumping straight to the forum to plead your case will not be looked on favourably by anyone, so please follow the procedure that is outlined.
