    Hi all,

Free and Parking seems an oxymoron when making a reference to Dublin city however I'm gong to give a try.

Do you know any area when I can park for free a few hours a day in Broadstone (West Drumcondra) or nearby?

Would imagine that area would have little to no free parking during daytime. And even if it does people woo know about it are not likely to be giving that info out on a public forum.

Best thing to do is driver around the backstreets (or do it via Streetview) and see can you find a place that doesnt have permit parking.

I live in Phibsborough not too far away, you're down into Glasnevin before you get much free parking and even then its scarce. They brought in more paid parking/longer hours of paid parking when Luas cross city came in to stop people leaving their cars there all day. I live on a 100% residential street well in from the main road and it is paid from 7am til midnight 7 days a week.

There are back street, lanes where there's free parking
but you have to look around for them. But if you park there
you.d need a car alarm, security system.
And there's a lot of small company's closed for lockdown,
So I do. nt think anyone would care if you parked outside
    the premises.

What day are you parking? Saturday/Sunday has lots of free parking dotted around. But because of Croke Park matches and Mater Hospital visitors, a lot of that area can have strict, almost 24hr parking areas.
