    Hi,

I'm looking for historic weather records for the Canary Islands, specifically Lanzarote and Fuerteventura. I've been through the records on tutiempo but they only go back as far as 1973 for what I'm looking for which is specifically precipitation and rain days.

Can't seem to find any historical records on the Spanish Met's site either. Has anyone got any other ideas?

    thanks in advance.

The European Climate Assessment & Database has daily records for both these regions but unfortunately only go back to 1972 for Lanzarote and 1970 for Fuerteventura

    http://eca.knmi.nl/

Just click on 'Daily Data' and select Country/Station/Elements etc. 'Indices of Extremes' tab will give an option to review monthly/seasonal or Yearly stats for both temp & rainfall as well.

Thank you very much - looks like I'm limited in how far back I can go.
