Hi all,
Vanilla are planning an update to the site on April 24th (next Wednesday). It is a major PHP8 update which is expected to boost performance across the site. The site will be down from 7pm and it is expected to take about an hour to complete. We appreciate your patience during the update.

    The discrepancies can be because of the petrol station takes a delivery at a certain price, they won't change their prices until they get a new delivery in. Unless the prices go up that is!

    Looks like the cheapest fuel in Dublin (or country) by a mile!
    Applegreen on Stillorgan Duel Carraigeway in Dublin.
    Diesel €121.8, Petrol €125.8.
    Not sure why it's only this station as most other Applegreens are higher price for diesel at €128 odd and petrol at €132 odd.
    K Circle across the road have been price matching Applegreens up to when they cut it to €125.8 but they are €126.8.

    That would make sense for some i guess. But when all the stations in one area have a high price compared to other parts of the country it looks like price fixing.
    Or maybe ALL the Dublin stations got recent deliveries and NONE of, say, the Cork ones did....

    Currently cheapest would be Circle K on n7 Junction 4 Rathcoole and Junction 7 Kill at 1.22 for diesel minus 5 cent with app,so brings to 1.17

    Another 1 cent knocked off tonight by Applegreen Stillorgan €119.5 Diesel and €123.5 for petrol.
    If this keeps going at this rate, it will be free on Valentines Day! :D

    Doubtful, as I think Brent crude has touched back up to near $60 barrel from a recent low of about $50

    Circle K in Donnybrook (traditionally one of the dearer ones that I regularly pass) has been 124.5 for petrol for the last few days. I thought I was seeing things at first!


    The variation in Circle K prices alone (I have a Topaz card so always go there) is crazy lately.

    If some stations can do petrol at €123.5 and presume they are still making money at those prices, it makes you wonder how much the other stations that are still charging €132 odd are making?

    Paid 1.39 in Johnstown, Co. Kilkenny yesterday - had to - Was on motorway, no other choice but to come off and pay it.

    Circle K(Topaz)are always expensive followed by Esso and Maxol.Applegreen are the cheapest at the moment - but not all garages.Suprised that Ushers Quay is not the cheapest.D4 Fuels in Ballsbridge good price but diesel only.

    Well Circle K in Donnybrook is the cheapest for petrol I've seen in a long time! (I think someone posted about somewhere cheaper further out the Stillorgan dualler).


    It all seems to be very random and varied lately.

    Applegreen Stillorgan have knocked another 1c off both so Diesel now down to 118.5 and petrol 122.5.

    Cheapest I have seen was on the n7 leaving dublin: Diesel @ 117.5 and the next garage (the newly rebuilt applegreen) was 118.5 for diesel.

    Circle K Mt Merrion (on the N11) 1.22.
    (Petrol)

    That's some difference in price within about 6km from each other.
