Joyce for me in.thst one 3-3.

Joyce is the one with the gas tank here.
I reckon Dubois will have to hurt him in the next couple if he's to win this.

    Big Joe just keeps coming.

Bang even now for me. Good round for DDD but he took some punishment. Battle of wills now.

    DDD round

    4-3 to JJ

Good fight this. JJ is barely breathing

Slow and steady might win this for Joyce.

Seems to have taken Dubois' best shots so far.

That commentator has a fierce fetish for Dubois.
    4-3
A lot of Joyce jabs are glancing but doing damage

  • Closed Accounts Posts: 4,415 ✭✭✭generalgerry

    4-3 Dubois for me.
Very impressed at how JJ is still actually there. He's taken some serious punches.
DDD looks worried, but JJ looks zen.

4-3 Dubois, worried about his eye though. Joyce's jabs are pretty hard. If he can start to mix in a couple of double jabs he'll win it I think.

Dubois' left eye is completely closed and he is not seeing the right hands at all.

I got Joyce up again after that round. It’s very close.

  • Registered Users Posts: 3,744 ✭✭✭Brock Turnpike

    5-3 JJ for me.

Jab very accurate. Have to wonder how well DDD is actually able to see now.

  • Registered Users Posts: 3,710 ✭✭✭Joeseph Balls

    Really enjoying this
    5-3 Joyce

  • Closed Accounts Posts: 4,415 ✭✭✭generalgerry

    5-3 Dubois I think.
Joyce seems to be getting less accurate as the rounds go on. The narrative was that Joe Joyce would be better as the rounds go on.

Joyce entering K/O territory for me.

    4-4 for me.

Joyce there for me. Up by 2

  • Registered Users Posts: 9,925 ✭✭✭normanoffside

Joe is starting to get right on top.

Slow hands but good feet and a very good engine.

5-4 Dubois now. Joyce looking stronger. Dubois does not look confident in the corner.

  • Registered Users Posts: 3,744 ✭✭✭Brock Turnpike

    5-4 JJ

    6-3 to Dubois.

    There we go

    f**king hell.

  • Registered Users Posts: 37,498 ✭✭✭✭eagle eye

5-4 Joyce for me. One thing I noted though was Joyce's hands were lower, could get caught of he's not careful.

  • Registered Users Posts: 9,925 ✭✭✭normanoffside

    That's it.
You have to say a big strong fit man with a good chin is always gonna give problems to heavyweights.

Ach Dan. Didn’t go out on his shield at all there. With that eye I can’t fathom why a doctor wasn’t called in at any stage. Fair play Joe, excellent fight plan and he deserves everything that comes from this.
