strange engraved coin

Hi, Im hoping someone can help me. I found this coin in a 2nd hand shop and im interested to know what it is.
It is a flat metal coin that is 9cm across and engraved on both sides. On one side is two men sitting on elephants fighting with swords and the other side shows two men shooting arrows while riding in a horse drawn chariot.
Does anyone know what this is and what it would be used for? Thanks

I'm pretty certain it's not a coin, not at 9cm and with nothing written on it. Probably some sort of commemorative medal.

When I looked at it I wondered if it was unfinished and that the low areas should be filled with enamel like in Cloisonné work.

Hi thanks for that yeah its a strange one, I was going to use it as a coaster but its actually a bit rough to put on a wooden table as i would think it might scratch it but i would love to know what it is or what it was made for. Thanks

One side looks very similar to a scene depicting the legendary elephant fight between King Naresun of the Ayutthaya Kingdom (in what is now modern-day Thailand) and Crown Prince Mingyi Swa during the Battle of Nong Sarai in 1593.

The linked Wikipedia article, from where the image is taken, suggests that it could be a seal from Suphan Buri Province. Or perhaps a copy of the seal, with another scene from the battle on the reverse, for commemorative purposes or for a decorative item.
