Heavy graupel shower turned to snow, falling onto ground that is completely encased in ice from earlier freezing rain showers. By far the worst ice I've ever experienced in this country. Temp is -0.8c, North Kildare.

Cloudy morning in Dublin 16. 4.3c atm with a NE breeze. Was woken up at 4.30am by a heavy hail shower (....house alarms going off!).

Got side swipped by the core of that shower. Some rain/hail/graupel in Dublin 16. 3.5c atm.
