Who else is going to get folks to Mars (along with fast Hyperloop to the spaceport), should e.g. a 're-animated' semi autonomous Hilary-AI emmerge around 2030, and seek to kick up some dust over in Syria, with dire consequenes.

His bio, isn't too bad for an aul Phd drop-out.

He is clearly bi-polar and I would worry if he got in, stranger things have happened however, check out this clip from a Bill Burr sketch on Kanye...

I will bet you a tenner that he won't get anyone to Mars..

Payable on the day he dies/gets someone to Mars..

There really should be some criteria required to become President, a couple of years working at State level maybe. Letting clowns like the current president walk into the white house when they've no clue what they're doing is a joke. Imagine Bono deciding to apply for Taoiseach here, I'd be raging.

Come back just before 2033, and with your bookmakers operating licence too.

Besides, who else do you think is going to be the first to get there.
As is stands, Musk & Co are the leaders in this field.

He's a Trump fan, not sure how well that plays with any demographic really

    Bono as Taoiseach?
A character who travels all around the place telling made up stories to Everyone and hides his financial affairs?

It’s not exactly that hard to fathom.

All bets were off with regards the American president with George W was elected TWICE.

And had it not been for Pat Kenny we could well have had our own reality TV star as president.

Do we want old man West here with his finger on the button?

There is no "finger" on any "button"

The Americans, specifically half their military "leaders" are morons. They will start a scrap with barefooted farmers in order to increase the stock price of Raytheon. They will lose the scrap, citing lack of public support or dirty tactics by outside influencers, and then they will move on to the next boondoggle fcukup.

If you think that whatever chimpanzee who sits in the white house has power then you are naive beyond delusion.

If the current cretin in chief just woke up tomorrow and stated "We're invading India" you think he would be allowed?

I sincerely hope he wins, for the entertainment value alone.
Were getting very close to President Camacho territory here.

Not the brightest, highly unpredictable, zero qualifications for the job, highly devisive, and delusions of grandeur.....not much different to Trump really.

Anywhere else you would say his changes are unlikely, but in America never bet again the stupid! Anything could happen.

Anyone else viewing this as a possibility in the times we are living in?

I definitely am. It's a real threat I think. The guy is a fruitcake. It would be an utter disaster.

In all seriousness, he couldn't be worse than the current incumbent.

In case it hasn't already been said here, it's probably not legit, just a plug for his album.

Although they said the same about trump at the start and look at what happened, because America.

If Kanye and his wife Kim Kardashian are the president and first lady will their first announcement be KKK in the white House.

    Can it actually get worse?

Sure more people could be working two jobs and be living in their cars.
The rich could add another zero to their wealth and there could be another few thousand homeless but it’s all heading that way not matter who takes over.

Sure healthcare could become less affordable, but it’s heading that way with all the candidates.

If they started another unjustified war it would just give a load of kids jobs unfortunately.

So really if this lad ran and won the presidency would it actually matter?

Sounds like our own President, evicting tenants to sell one of his many homes at a huge tax free profit

Certainly more 'interesting' than sleepy/creepy old uncle Joe.

If his new album is any good and he can capture his intended target audience of 12% (or Multiracial African Americans at 14%), that's a huge factor in the race.
Add in the mix 16.7% who are of hispanic/latino discent, who may find Kim Cardigan instagram's photoshop'ed booty blurb, of interest.

Elon Musk now adds his full support, Musk would actually be a top quality running mate if Independents, or even (both) as future advisors to the Trump
From 500/1 to now 50/1 still can't see it, It's now likely Trump (odds reducing) to win again, some would say he now has 'divine assistance' to MAGA.

If his new album is any good. Big ask, Late Registration and College Dropout is the only decent music he’s ever brought out.

Can't see past Trump, almost impossible to oust a sitting president.
Anyone comparing Kanye to Trump forgets the most astute move Trump made was to hijack the Republican vote to become president.

Kanye is running as an independent in a two party system. There's a massive base vote that Republican and Democratic candidates start with purely from people voting by party aligiance.

Kanye essentially has to start at 0 and work his way up.
He's already lost before he starts.
Though it will be Interesting to see if he'll take a significant amount of the minority vote from Biden.

I don't imagine he thinks he can win, what he could do though is show up in the polls, lets say he gets into the 10%-20% range, he effectively gets to be a king maker. He can push for a deal from Trump and Biden, whoever offers the best deal he drops out and endorses that candidate. All he has to do is move the needle in a few states

yawn - but sure why let facts get in the way of a trump-like comment.

It was student accommodation. He gave them 4 months notice from the end of the college year - way above requirements.

But typical of people who can't be bothered to check themselves, you believe the tter sh1te written by second rate "journalists". Why some people think second rate journalists write factual stories without any agenda is quite astonishing.

He paid over the odds for the house in the 1st place. Purchasing costs would have been about €4,000-€5,000. A buy to let mortgage is about 5%, so interest would have cost about €15,000 a year. The rent would have been taxable and after tax barely covered the mortgage interest. It is sale agreed and the figure is meant to be under €450,000. Agent fees and legal fees will take about €7,000 off that.

That's a paltry return of about €60,000 for 6 years on a €370k investment. Thank god he was never minister for finance. Certainly not a "huge tax free profit" - but then some people will believe the tabloids and take it as utter truth.
