I'm finding that fascinating FP! Some things are actually cheaper 18 years later

They're doing a bogof on crackers now according to Facebook

Our 12 packs of Family Crackers are now buy one get one free! That's €4.99 for 24 crackers, while stocks last!

The receipt was in pounds also. Things must have being very dear outside of Lidl!

I viewed the leaflet for week ending Saturday 21st and Sunday 22nd December 2019.
There's not mention of weekend Supersavers.
However I don't know what Lidl has planned.

    Any word ?

No. Nothing yet. I'm sort of in a daze with all of the practically free stuff from the fridges though. 90c trout is my life now. Nothing but 90c trout and 20c salami...

some of these 'promotions' are a bit iffy methinks.

    Ariel/Fairy 3 in 1 Pods 19 pack was €9.10 ....

I don't think any shop would ever sell 19 pods for €9.10 RRP, they'd not sell a single box.
I think some of the RRPs are exaggerated.

Seems to be a common thing...
    https://www.tesco.ie/groceries/Product/Details/?id=302837809

RRP €8.00 for 15 pods in Tesco, but on sale at €4.50

Aren't there laws around that? They used to have to sell the item at the higher price for 30 days out of the previous 90 days before they could quote it in an advert.

Lidl’s Christmas Cracker on Monday box of Taytos 18 pack €1.99.

  • Registered Users Posts: 380 ✭✭littlesthobo

Noticed there was a 2 for €9 on valpolicella superiore in lidl earlier, got a couple to try.

No sign of the Chilean wine that was supposed to be on the offer

I got the Chilean yesterday in D3, one case each of the merlot and cab sav. Probably if they sold out the valpolicella was substituted.

Mine had stuff that expired on the 13th this morning, and there was plenty of meat, however none of the meat was discounted despite expiring today and being in the waste night section. Grangegorman lidl really isn't great with this stuff

I had a load of 30% stuff in my trolly for the freezer when I came to the green stickers, Dumped them out and in with the green lads. Salmon .90c Stuffed chicken breast in the bone .90c lots of other fish, chicken and red meat stuff.
They are dated for that day or the next, while the 30% are longer dated.
