Hi all,
Vanilla are planning an update to the site on April 24th (next Wednesday). It is a major PHP8 update which is expected to boost performance across the site. The site will be down from 7pm and it is expected to take about an hour to complete. We appreciate your patience during the update.

Paddy Power Win a Million promotion!

    Paddy Power started a new Horse Racing promotion today, runs until 19th December.

    You have to OPT IN (if you are eligible :rolleyes:) and then place a bet of a minimum of £/€5 on any of the 6 races picked by PP from November 14 through to December 19.
    Monday after each qualifying race, PP will pick one of the people who had backed the winner on previous Saturday.
    If you are picked, you go forward to a New Year’s Day sweepstake race at Cheltenham.
    On New Year’s Day, each of the winners will be assigned a horse in the Paddy Power Handicap Chase at 2pm, where the winner will walk away with the
    £/€1m booty. Everyone else who makes the final field will get a consolation price of £/€10k.

    Qualifying race 1: Nov 14: Cheltenham 3.25pm
    Qualifying race 2: Nov 21: Ascot 3.20pm
    Qualifying race 3: Nov 28 Newbury 3.00pm
    Qualifying race 4: Dec 5: Sandown 3.35pm
    Qualifying race 5: Dec 12: Cheltenham 3.05pm
    Qualifying race 6: Dec 19: Ascot 3.35pm

    Seems okay but you have to bet a €5 and win to get into the draw.
    I would assume they will be more than 6 entries into the draw as there will be more than 6 runners in the race on New Years Day.
