King Kong Company have been making a new music video every month since February. They're an electronic based five piece band, that draw on influences from dub, reggae, ska and drum n'bass. Their April track Acetate, features samples from Tracy Chapman, Tom Waits, The Temptations and the soundtracks to Assault on Precinct 13 and A Few Dollars More. The next video is due at the beginning of May.

fantastic idea. we tried releasing a single with multiple remixes every month last year, but burnout ensued.

The tracks sound brilliant! As the above poster said - great idea but unless ye have all the tracks already recorded - it's gonna be bloody tough!!

The guys don't plan on releasing one every month forever, but certainly an albums worth. The first two tracks (Dr. Whom and Free The Marijuana) are actually from the mid/late 90's when the guys were first together. From here on out its brand new stuff. I know what you mean about burnout, but I think everyone is getting into a routine.

Next track due in the first week of May

They are a class act alright. Tracks seem to be getting better. Waterford is churning out some pretty significant music these days.

Just goes to show, you don't need to spend a fortune on a video, just some cardboard boxes and a lot of imagination................
