Watched 'The Dawn Wall' on Netflix, and I thought those guys were crazy

    So I watched the Dawn Wall documentary on Netflix, about the 2 guys climbing El Capitan, the sheer 3000ft granite wall in Yosemite National Park.

    As someone who has no head for heights, even watching them gave me butterflies and the odd touch of fear.

    Amazing to watch them, including sleeping on little tents hooked on to the wall. Took them 19 days I think.




    But then I couldn't believe it when I saw an article about this guy Alex Honnold in a magazine that came with a local paper, saying he did the climb without safety ropes in less than 4 hours!!

    For me, surely this is the greatest sporting achievement of all time?
    That takes bravery (madness?) to completely new levels.
