I got accepted to Athlone Institute of Technology(AIT) to do MA in Child and Youth Studies as well as to the University of Edinburgh to do MSc. in Child Psychology (distance learning). Now I don’t know which to choose as in which one would be better for my future career? I eventually want to apply to do a doctorate in clinical psychology/educational psychology but I want to get Masters and few years of work experience before that. So should I choose the MA in AIT just because its an Irish uni or does it really matter? Also, when applying for the doctorate is it better to have Masters from a brick uni or do they mind if its done through distance learning? thanks x
