Looking at the radar it looks like just an isolated shower

Good job I leave the country every summer to bask in hotter conditions :pac: :D

Not this year my friend... ferry's won't be able to sail in all that rain and there'll be floods at Donegal airport, preventing planes taking off... and the rest of the country's airports will be closed due to their tarmac melting. :pac:

The only way you're escaping all that Donegal rain this summer is on Noah's Arc! ;)

if the ferry won't even be able to sail swimming would be a major problem as well!

looking at the report at 8 am on met eireann looks like those showers are of rain in shannon/valentia so far.

The 17Z TAFs don't show much at all really, though they're only valid up to 6pm tomorrow. The 23Z TAFs will be of more use later tonight.

Here's Cork's 17Z, showing light sleet showers from 3pm tomorrow...

    Loads of snow.

Came home with a takeaway at 8.20, no snow, clear sky.
Just opened the door, about an inch on the floor, heavy snow falling.

Feel embarassed posting this. Batteries out on the cam, so down to the new videocam to take a pic. This car is a foot from the house (where the only external light is)
