Hi all,
Vanilla are planning an update to the site on April 24th (next Wednesday). It is a major PHP8 update which is expected to boost performance across the site. The site will be down from 7pm and it is expected to take about an hour to complete. We appreciate your patience during the update.

    The annual Irish Met Soc photography competition is open for entries until September 30th

    There are plenty of talented photographers on the forum so some of you might be interested in submitting your pics. They are looking for interesting photographs taken in Ireland with a weather or seasonal theme.

    Hello fellow weather enthusiasts on Boards! :) I am on the committee of the Irish Meteorological Society and you may be aware or unaware of our annual Photography Competition. I'm sure many of you have taken stunning photographs from around Ireland this year to date and in previous years. It would be great if many of you could enter. Perhaps some of you already have. If you haven't already entered this year's Photography Competition, there is only a short time left to submit your photos as the closing date of 30th September is fast approaching. We are looking for photographs taken in Ireland with a seasonal or weather-related theme so do please take a look through your collection to see if you have anything suitable. You can look back at previous winners on our website. And please do spread the word among your fiends and family to enter.
