Hi all,
Vanilla are planning an update to the site on April 24th (next Wednesday). It is a major PHP8 update which is expected to boost performance across the site. The site will be down from 7pm and it is expected to take about an hour to complete. We appreciate your patience during the update.

    How many teams have:

    1) Rep of Ireland failed to score against

    2) Failed to score against Rep of Ireland.

    A bit of an ambiguous question, do you mean that they have never scored against or been scored against yeah? And I take it we have to have played them...

    Yes, teams that Ireland have never scored against and vice versa.

    Egypt. (For both parts of the question) Who can forget Eamon Dunphy's pencil throwing verdict on THAT match?

    Argentina. We haven't scored against them.
    Malta. They haven't scored against us.

    Malta have scored against Ireland. It was 8th Sept 1999, when Ireland beat them 3-2 with a winning free kick from Stan near the end of the game.

    There is still quite a few more teams that did not score v Ireland.
