Hi all,
Vanilla are planning an update to the site on April 24th (next Wednesday). It is a major PHP8 update which is expected to boost performance across the site. The site will be down from 7pm and it is expected to take about an hour to complete. We appreciate your patience during the update.

    Decided to try this and maybe catch some airings of anime we mightn't catch otherwise.
    Please add any showings you find.

    I'll start by saying Film4 are doing a Ghibli season (again) from 26th March to 13th April

    I've noticed that Kix show Pokémon, Yu-Gi-Oh, Digimon and DBZ-Kai, with Disney XD showing Pokémon and those two are the only stations on the Sky lineup that does show any anime.

    Animecentral was a channel and there was a weekly and, later, daily block on one of the community channels called Anime Network.

    The second Bleach movie, The Diamond Dust Rebellion is on next Monday night on Sony Movies.

    Also Film 4 are showing Ghibli movies every morning this week. Arietty was on at the weekend, Ponyo yesterday, Whisper of the Heart today, the Cat Returns tomorrow, Only Yesterday on Thursday and Kiki's Delivery Service on Friday.

    I wouldnt link site if there was an option to watch anime on tv in ireland, since there is not. What can 1 do? HMV is dead, so am i to wait till the time when i look up to the sky and see anime been filmed in the clouds!

    Whether you have access or not, I'm afraid we can't condone links to sites that stream or download unauthorized licensed material. Links to Netflix/Hulu/Crunchroll etc are fine since they have the rights to stream the shows.

    Come to think of it, I know of crunchyroll but how about creating a sticky with legal streaming sites?

    Oh, and was reading when looking about why Sony was showing the Bleach movies now, they will be showing 4 Bleach movies and after those they will show other anime movies..

    Next week will be the second Berserk movie, The Battle for Doldrey.

    And in case you didn't notice, Film 4 is now HD so Ghibli HD, as being currently demonstrated by Spirited Away. :)

    Which station? Loved Black Lagoon, glad to see more coming out, even if in OVA format.

    Sony Movies Monday night/Tuesday morning @ 1:05am

    They have anime every Monday night now.

    Looks like the Professor Layton movie is on Sony Movies next Monday night.
    Funny thing is the information says it's 18 rated. Guess it's the unrated cut. :)

    Well that's the Sony Movie Channel anime block booked up for the foreseeable future. Starting next Monday night they're showing Bleach from the beginning. Looks like 4 episodes a night though don;t know how many they'll be showing

    Im not sure if its been mentioned elsewhere but Sony movies channel 323 on sky is showing the first four episodes of 'Bleach' next tuesday night at 1.30am.

    Just thought I would post bout it

    Not specifically TV, but Netflix UK just put up Kill La Kill, Gurren Lagan and have the 5 seasons of Hunter x Hunter in the anime section.
