Hi all,
Vanilla are planning an update to the site on April 24th (next Wednesday). It is a major PHP8 update which is expected to boost performance across the site. The site will be down from 7pm and it is expected to take about an hour to complete. We appreciate your patience during the update.

    My opinion is that the gang will turn on Nidge but by the end of the series it will be broke into factions. Darren will get with Siobhan and fall out with Tommy so it will be him and Elmo on one side with Tommy and Fran on the other. However, Elmo will eventually stab Darren in the back.
    The RIRA are integral this series but wont feature next series. I can see Sean McGinley's character discovering that Dano has been using the drugs boat to ship in ammunition and Dano will be dealt with.

    But the point is that Dazzler started off as a young lad who likes the idea of being in a gang, and then his brother gets shot, then he gets shot himself and then he has to do his first hit and as time goes on he gets more and more sucked in until he is a full blown gangster.
    At the moment he only wants money here and there but as time goes on he'll want more and more. He never wanted to kill anyone but now he has killed 4 (6 if you count he helped in Git and Lukes death)

    Point taken but the remorse at the last double killing would lead me to believe this would not happen. Saying that, they could have had him walking away from the whole thing plenty of times before.
    Personally I hope him and Nidge get a nice send off like Joe Pesci in Casino.

    I just don't like him but then again I'm not a gangland henceman so maybe I just haven't taken the time to get to know him. My wife often tells me I jump to conclusions about people too quickly.;)

    Darren is carrying a split personality. On one hand he is remorseful and guilty but on the other hand he is bargaining to get his blood money.

    Casting wise id agree. Rob Sheehan a good actor just not cut out for this part. Another actor could have brought alot more to the part of Darren

    Whats happened to JohnBoys money (or was it account numbers) that Nidge took from the roof garden of the apartment in S2E6?
    Nidge seems to be playing the poverty card at the moment and I'm not sure whether its a plot device or he's suddenly a miser.

    Should Darren not be handing himself in to the police and doing his 24 hours in the interview suite? Everyone else got released inc the co-killer girl, so clearly there is no actual evidence against him?

    Another great episode - Fran and Avatar girl possibly the funniest moment of television this year.
