We're not out of the woods yet. Some serious rain falling for the last hour.

The more you hear Callan’s impersonation of Boris, the more you realise it doesn’t actually sound like him :D

Yeah, he might be exaggerating it just a bit too far (what's the Quavers reference to  )

Pat Kenny once told Mario Rosenstock that Rosenstock's impression of him didn't quite reflect his voice. Rosenstock agreed but made the point that he wasn't trying to replicate Kenny's voice, it was a caricature, so you exaggerate some of the sounds and vocabulary, which was a fair point. But there probably has to be a balance between caricature and similarity, just like any cartoon, and the Boris character is definitely a bit off.

Haven't yet heard tonight's programme, but was disappointed with Callan's first show of the season, last week. You'd think the first programme of the season would be a high-water mark; I hope it won't be all downhill from here.

Well his attack on the Govnt.is about all that is constant on tonight’s ‘offering’.

    Nothing too exciting so far.

Hurrah for podcasts! Did Marian sabotage the promos?
Callan getting into stride in Ep2
    Otherwise ..
How little has changed since last series. Politics may be beyond parody.
Who'd have thought Maybot would be better material than Spaffer Johnson.

Agree.... what’s the expression..... flogging a dead horse..

Needs a major freshening up, but of course Callan won’t sock it to the lefties.

Too much skin in the game.

    Spinning rapidly...

Yeah. If the job of journalism (or satire) is to speak truth to power, I'm surprised that Callan doesn't "sock it to the lefties" more given that they've been in power in this country for such a long time ...

He could reprise "Ghosts of Leaders Past" for the christmas Ep. That was a classic.
