    Appreciate any help on this.
Alarm went off twice without being set
External bell tamper on alarm log.
I looped out the tamper switch and now can’t clear the fault to set alarm

Would it be possible it’s external bell batteries are faulty? Or resistor on the tamper connection at the bell box ?
    Thanks

    Edit
Orange fault light cleared after about an hour.
    Why would this be?

If you looped out BHO and Tamper return at the panel you will need a 4K7 resistor.

The problem might be with the cable or the bell itself. Take the 4k7 resistor out of the bell and place it across bell hold off and tamper return at the panel. Leaving the cable into bell hold off but remove the tamper return cable from the panel.
