Googling 'letters', 'patients', 'Ireland' and ''hospitals' only gives me websites that assume I'm writing a letter of complaint for some reason :)

A deaf family relative has been admitted to hospital (Waterford) and I'd like to send them a letter.
Do hospitals 'deliver' letters received to patients?
If so, what's the best address to use, the ward name/the nurses station/ something else?
    Tx.

Very slow to get through the system where I work, but patient name, correct ward name, hospital name and address should definitely get it there, just not very quickly.

Oh well, give me an easy life and a peaceful death.

    Name and ward.
It will go with the other regular mail to the ward and a nurse will hand it over.

If in doubt ring the ward and ask.
