Against my better judgement I decided to man up and go and see that Japanese film ‘Audition by Takashi Miiki ’ in the ifi a few years back. Several people had already walked out by the time I realised I was frozen with fear it was too late. I sat immobilised with terror and finally after I had half seen and heard far too much I bolted out barging through a whole row of people to get away from it. I still wake up in sweats some nights from scenes in that film. It was
memorable for all the wrong reasons.I did not know such evil existed and it put thoughts in my head I can never remove.

I remember seeing Delicatessen for the first time about 20 years ago, brilliant and strange. You will definitely avoid kebabs for a while after that one!

All is Lost.... Seen it as the Secret Movie in the Galway Film Fleadh. My mates didnt expect me to like it, I have weird movie taste, but it was amazing. Robert Redford, alone on a sinking boat, for the whole movie... Says nothing... AWESOME!
