'Magnolia' at the age of about 15 or 16. It started off as a Robert Altman-style drama with wonderful scenery chewing performances and an intrusive, tension heightening score and then...and then...and then...

Well, let's just say the ending left me wondering whether I'd just seen a masterpiece or not in a way that virtually no film had done before, or no film has done since.

Went to see The Lighthouse in The Lighthouse cinema last weekend. Most certainly up there with regard to weird/unconventional movies.
