Years back a boat hire on the Shannon. Me, my bro and our girlfriends (still with them 20+ years later - bro married her - I didn't but 25 years strong anyway). At one stage we hooked up with two German couples about the same age and travelled up river with them. I will never forget these staid stereotype Germans and us hopping between boats in the middle of the lake as we were having games of swear word scrabble in two languages.

Took a boat trip in Barcelona in a glass bottomed boat - was really nice seeing all the fish underneath as we were moving along

Shannon boat hire cruise. Looked into the lock as we were passing through and *plonk* my glasses fell in.

No more reading for the rest of the cruise.

Oh also, managed to ground the boat 3 times. May have had something to do with the glasses going missing.

I went to South Africa and was super excited to go on a whale watching boat trip.
Drove to Hermanus and boarded the boat.

We got out to sea and saw the gorgeous animals, southern right whales.

It was just a shame that I was watching them with my head over the side of the boat, getting sick for the duration!

Have a great photo of myself and my sister around 6 and 8 sailing up the Shannon on a lovely sunny day in the 90's.

Power boating on the Menai Straits in Wales and managed to run aground, thankfully while cruising at a low speed.

I'd like to win a pair of tickets, so here we go !

Most memorable would probably be cruising in the city of Prague, dressed for a 20s themed party. Very cool souvenir.
