Now, all I gotta do is find all these cartoons and watch 'em again. Hard to believe I've watched nearly all of these cartoons at one point or another!

Street Sharks is there already too, so we need a new 100.

Oopsi... great thread! Did wonders for my post count :D

Yup - there's a few in there that I missed out on (me being so old) but what better way to while away a few hours at work than watching some of them (or even my litte pony) on youtube... :D

We've got the list already Ruu, pretty sure that's already in there somewhere anyway.

Yeah just saw the final list. Hard to believe the amount of cartoons I watched, don't make them like they used to. :(

And now I will undertake the worst part!!! I am going to find a clip or episode of each cartoon in that list that can be watched online and I will re-post the list (with links) right here when I'm done!

  • Registered Users Posts: 2,481 ✭✭✭Fremen

Hmm, I'm a bit disappointed not to see "battletech" in there, but I guess you can't win 'em all.

I will only allow clips, not linking to full episodes please for legal reasons. Don't want to drop boards into hot water. :) Thanks.

No problem Ruu. I have a list of Youtube type websites as long as my arm!! I'm pretty sure I can find them all.

Hey Ruu, don't suppose you could sticky this thread for us could you?
If DarkJager succeeds in his quest, I'll edit the original post to include the links. I think it would be a good thing to have at the top of the retro boards.
DarkJager, even having the theme songs would be pretty cool.
I can't believe none of us thought of adding the Racoons to the list!!! I only remembered it just now!

Stuck. Don't know how I could have forgotten Raccoons! Postie just after delivering Set 1+2 on DVD a few moments ago. Theme tune is very good also, performed by Lisa Lougheed (also played Lisa Raccoon in the series.) :)

You're a legend Ruu. I remember watching Racoons on tv a couple of weeks back, it's on one of the cartoon channels on sky.
You must have loads of retro cartoons and shows on dvd by the sound of it?
I thought I was bad, but I had to stop getting stuff about christmas because I have no money anymore. Ooopsies.
I've got the first two series of the Turtles, every episode of Gummi Bears, every episode of Batman: The Animated Series, every episode of X-Men the animated series, first 27 episodes of Chip 'N' Dale, first 27 episodes of DuckTales, a couple of episodes of Street Sharks, a couple of episodes of Defenders of the Earth, a couple of episodes of Prince Valiant (another good one missing from the list) and a lot more. Once I come into some money again, I'm gettin me some Thundercats, some Transformers, some Aimaniacs, some Pinky And The Brain, some of The Tick (my mate has every episode already, so I watch his a lot) are te main things I want.

Yeesh! As well as forgetting Racoons I completely forgot about all those Nintendo cartoons; Super Mario World, Zelda, Captain N: Game Master (The one with the NES gun in it.)

Just an observation but at 29 is Ghostbusters and at 95 is The Real Ghostbusters

The Real Ghostbusters would be the correct entry....perhaps the Racoons can get in after all :D

Not really. After all there is Filmations Ghostbusters (which is based on a different franchise that existed long before the 1984 Bill Murray movie). Technically "Ghostbusters" and "The Real Ghostbusters" are two different cartoons.

Ah yeah I remember that one now... used to think that was called 'Ghost Hunters'

Ah well 'C'est la vie' Racoons

......or we could just make it 101 cartoons...

I have to say I am surprised the Snorks or the Wuzzles never made it on the list. I have to say, the Wuzzles only ran for13 episodes, but it was one of my favorites when I was a kid.

Disappointed to have missed my opportunity to add Dr. Snuggles to the list as well. Great show with another kick a$$ theme tune.

Not a porn site, as you might think. But I had toy figures of these. Cool holograms like visionaries, only not as expensive for Santy.

Was there ever a cartoon of this?
