Might be useful to have a thread for people to post photos or links to photos from the great outdoors. Photos from Adventure race taken on Croaghanmoira with fab and clear views around Wicklow and the south last Saturday are here Saw the rare sight of Slievenmon on the horizon down south whilst hanging out on the peak.…

A few from the start of the year.
A bloody cold day out at Luggala.

Getting off the minivan, and the shock from the heated van to the cold first thing in the morning wasn't sitting right with everyone.

So we head off down the valley, picturesque as always.

Heading towards the mountain.

But we stopped to figure out what we were doing for the day.
More a day of getting people use to map reading than a big day out.

And up the boulder field it was.
Nice way up the mountain.

Loose rocks and the ice from the night before made this a slow one up the rocks.

Hard to see it really, but this turned into a bit of a white out as we were in the gully.

It was deceivingly deep in a few spots.

As some one was feeling sick, we hard to cut our day short here and head back to the van, a nice day untill then.

Both taken in Wychwood Forest, near Armidale NSW. The lower one taken many years ago before I got grey hair! This is where I live.

Love that loop walk in Glendalough. Have a photo from the same spot from a few years back.

Anyway, the Indian summer has definitely ended now in BC, Canada. Winter is here to stay.

Cool! I took a picture of Lug early on Sunday and there was a little fluffy cloud sitting on its summit. I was wondering if there was white stuff underneath.

Yep, that's Camaderry alright .. you can clearly see the patch of Scots pines on the left of the picture that you go past when coming up it from Glendalough.
