A few from the start of the year.
A bloody cold day out at Luggala.

Getting off the minivan, and the shock from the heated van to the cold first thing in the morning wasn't sitting right with everyone.
    17870_450826665639_357076955639_10821177_3134090_n.jpg

So we head off down the valley, picturesque as always.

    17870_450826700639_357076955639_10821181_220468_n.jpg

    Heading towards the mountain.
    17870_450826755639_357076955639_10821185_5110120_n.jpg

But we stopped to figure out what we were doing for the day.
More a day of getting people use to map reading than a big day out.
    17870_450826840639_357076955639_10821194_7885357_n.jpg

And up the boulder field it was.
    Nice way up the mountain.
    17870_450826880639_357076955639_10821200_2021085_n.jpg

Loose rocks and the ice from the night before made this a slow one up the rocks.
    17870_450826935639_357076955639_10821204_519498_n.jpg
    17870_450826955639_357076955639_10821205_4388339_n.jpg

Hard to see it really, but this turned into a bit of a white out as we were in the gully.

    SNOW!
    17870_450827110639_357076955639_10821219_2715246_n.jpg
It was deceivingly deep in a few spots.
    17870_450827075639_357076955639_10821215_5134991_n.jpg

As some one was feeling sick, we hard to cut our day short here and head back to the van, a nice day untill then.

Love that loop walk in Glendalough. Have a photo from the same spot from a few years back.

Anyway, the Indian summer has definitely ended now in BC, Canada. Winter is here to stay.

Cool! I took a picture of Lug early on Sunday and there was a little fluffy cloud sitting on its summit. I was wondering if there was white stuff underneath.

Yep, that's Camaderry alright .. you can clearly see the patch of Scots pines on the left of the picture that you go past when coming up it from Glendalough.
