Who to start out of Dallas (BHA) and ESR (NEW)?

Bit of a coin flip there. A lot more than it would have been before Arsenal looked so lifeless on Thursday. If Arsenal can resume where they were prior to Palace, then I’d favour ESR because I don’t really fancy Leeds for the cleanie this week.

Although Dallas the higher ceiling IMO.

Don’t worry yourself with decisions like that. That’s what bench boost is for:P

It's nice to not care. I don't think I've ever felt like this!

    Time to enjoy the nonsense.

    -8

    Meslier
    Cresswell Dias Robertson
Salah (TC) Mahrez Raphinha Soucek Bruno
    Antonio Vardy

    Good luck all!

I can only afford to do Dallas -> Dawson or Alioski -> Lowton.

Looks like Alioski isn't nailed, so I think I'll get in Lowton and hope Antonio stays quiet against Burnley!

    Cheers for the input.

Think I'll go with ESR. Arteta will surely have it drilled in to them that they can't be so complacent again.

Hahaha. Nah my bench isn't good enough for a bench boost this GW and I'm instead thinking of TCing KDB.

Any Wilson owners tempted to bench him?

I have vardy as captain for double game week vs Southampton and Chelsea both at home.

I’ve a bit of time to consider changing him. Other options are:
Rashfors or Fernandez vs Liverpool and Fulham both away.
Foden vs palace and villa both at home.

What do people think of those 4?

I wouldn't captain Bruno this week, if he gets a yellow against Liverpool he's out for the Fulham game so he could easily end up with a 1 pointer

Good luck all. Sticking with original plan. BB active. -4 hit

    Mendy Fabianski

    TAA Robbo Cancelo Stones Coufal

Salah (c) Rashford Bruno Soucek Raphina

    Bamford Watkins Adams

    Ooh. Good thinking.

Don’t wanna do rashfod either so that’s foden or vardy.

Think vardy is due a run and I need to close a gap on leader in my league so need a differential. It’s a gamble.

Foden is in great form but I hate using city players because they rotate so much

All the perfect planning to BB Has been thrown into disarray with Leeds second game off. Decision time closing in and not sure whether to stick or twist.

No planning for this gameweek. Took a -4. Lining up like this.

    McCarthy,
    TAA, cresswell, Dallas,
    Salah, Bruno, KDB(c), Grealish
    Wood, Watkins, Bamford
    Forster - Kwp, Bissouma, Kilman

May hit TC on KDB yet but not 100pc at all on it.

Rejigged the FH team a bit to go with Rashford instead of Bruno:
    Mendy
    Stones Cancelo Cresswell
    Salah KDB(c) Rashford Soucek Mount
    Antonio Vardy
    Bench full of playing fodder.

Hewt for now but a bit nervous with triple West Ham

  • Registered Users Posts: 310 ✭✭MrSkinny

After a very underwhelming FH, bracing myself for another disappointment with a risky BB and -8 hit:

    Martínez, Button
    Cancelo, Coufal, Chilwell, Lowton, Bednarek
Salah (c), Bruno, Son, Grealish, Soucek
    Kane, Bamford, Antonio

BB or not to BB, that is the question.

On a -4, currently looking at

    Martinez
    Cancello, Coufal, Justin, James
    Salah(c), Bruno, Grealish, Son
    Kane, Antonio

    Johnstone, Bamford, Dallas, Anguisa

Nervous about the Villa lads and Reece James and also about not having Kdb.
At this stage I’m still 50/50 whether I’ll use BB or not

  • Registered Users Posts: 17,792 ✭✭✭✭paulie21

    Darlow

    Cancelo Konsa Lowton

    KDB (c) Bruno Son Gundog

    Wilson Vardy Bamford

    Wildcard activated, big Kev captain

I would. Ultimately the bench boost only really relates to your bench, and considering you’re starting the Villa lads and James, they’d only come into the equation as a negative to your bench boost here if they didn’t play any minutes at all, as they’d mean one of your bench players was no longer a bench player.

Johnstone, Bamford, Dallas and Anguissa has plenty of potential to get you the kind of points tally you’d need to make a bench boost worthwhile, you’re looking for around 20 really.

Stick with it. If your team is set up to use , follow through. You can then distribute funds later on & focus on a 12/13 man squad

Got rid of Son and Kane and I am bricking it.

  • Registered Users Posts: 13,083 ✭✭✭✭How Soon Is Now

    Martinez

    Robertson, Stones, Coufal

    Salah, KDB, Fernandes, Soucek

    Antonio, Bamford, Vardy

    McCarthy, Dallas, Mitchell, Burke

Very very tempted to captain Vardy as I'm 70 points behind first in my work league and 30 ahead of 3rd!

  • Registered Users Posts: 15,115 ✭✭✭✭Fitz*

    Martinez
    Coufal Stones Lowton
Saka Son Soucek KDB Sterling (TC)
    Kane Lacazette

    McCarthy Watkins Taylor Lamptey

A late change to move away from the BB that I had worked to and instead TC. The injuries and doubts over Villa players playing said the -8 was not worth the BB.

Sterling owes me returns big time.

If the leader of my league this year is anything to go by, they'll outscored everyone.

  • Registered Users Posts: 16,304 ✭✭✭✭Mr.Prodston

    Johnstone
    Coufal - C Dawson - Justin - Lowton
    Grealish - Bruno - Salah - Soucek - KdB (c)
    Werner

McCarthy: Bamford - Dallas - Adams

    -8

    No chips active! Stupid Shrewsbury...

Of course owning Craig Dawson is the most exciting of all my players... even when I'm trying to be sensible sometimes bad things happen. Selling BOTH Son and Kane is terrifying too

DGWs really bring out the worst in me :pac:

I got rid of Bruno in my WC and haven't looked back since.

    (only wildcarded this week)

    Praying for a yellow tomorrow.
