Hi all,

    Cheers, why dont they add a more user friendly timetable to Luas app though, like Dublin Bus?

    The problem is that the rows list the departures sequentially, no matter where the Luas starts.

    So for Sandyford you get northbound departure times presented like 6.08 - 6.00 - 6.28 - 6.17. The reason is that the first and third start at Bride's Glen, and the second and fourth start at Sandyford itself.

    This presentation is very confusing and should be something that the NTA should be able to fix.

    Yes. It is sorted by start time, regardless of start point. These timetables are designed for use by the journey planner, human use is an after thought. Luas should be publishing their own timetables.

    Luas is designed to be "turn up and go". I'd guess they don't publicise the timetables so they can adjust them on the fly if a tram gets delayed.

    Luas always say that they don't have timetables, rather they operate off a "frequency based" model. Nobody really wants to see the timetables and they never have.

    During the day, yes. However, in the early morning and late evening the gaps mean a published timetable would be useful.

    Wouldn't go as far as to call DB timetables user friendly as most only list termini departures although the new timetables for the Go-Ahead operated 175 are a big improvement as they are stop specific so something similar could be done for stops.

    No, that's the timetable section. :) Search for "red" or "green" in the "route number" field.
