    Florida: Trump 49%, Biden 46%

A new Rasmussen Reports telephone and online survey of Likely Voters in Florida finds Trump beating Biden 49% to 46%. Three percent (3%) like some other candidate, and another three percent (3%) are undecided. (

No i just understand that anyone who actually wants a firearm could make one very easily and anyone wanting to commit an act of terror wouldnt have a hard time. You could literally assemble a machine pistol from parts bought in woodies with nothing more than a hacksaw, a file, tape and die etc. without even needing machine tools.
Anyone could make a gun by hand, by 3d printing a receiver, using a cnc mill, lathe or router bought on wish for 500 quid certainly anyone with any engineering knoledge could make something with little effort.

People have been making guns for 1000 years in one form or another and up until very recently, it was all done by hand.

In terms of the easiest firearms to make it would actually be a full auto.
Guns will never go away because you cant rewrite the laws of physics and the knowledge is out there.

Except very few people have those skills resources or wherewithal.

Good luck mass shooting with a plastic gun.

How did the war last so long then? why did the troubles here last so long against England who has one of the most capable military forces in the world?

Can you just make your point? It's not really the topic here is it.

It's not hate for AOC, it's a simple ideological opposition to socialism. It's not hard to understand, I'm actually surprised anyone on here is that far gone.

How do you feel about Trump getting treatment in private medical facility funded with tax payers dollars and then been flown about 10 miles on a private helicopter funded by tax paying dollars to be then admitted to another private hospital funded by tax paying dollars.

And all this for free ? Sounds very socialist to me.

I didn't say plastic gun i said receiver.
anyone who understands Newton third law of physics could build a fully automatic firearm.
And you dont need to know anything to follow instructions.

The point is they can ban guns like they have drugs and they will still be freely available like they are here. Go look at the garda twitte page. full bore pistols are banned here yet every week they post several of them that have been confiscated . How did that happen they are banned

He is the leader of the free world. What do you expect?
You can offset the cost with the 450,000 dollar salary he donates to charity every year.

How do you even compare that to here? Most people here would not be able to get their hands on a gun and they are not freely available at all, remember that kid who shot up the cinema dressed as the joker he was 15 and he had aspergers do you think there would be any chance of him getting a gun if he had lived over here?

Even a handgun never mind the fully automatic rifle and the endless clips of ammunition he got his hands on.

Sort of weird to be donating his paycheck when he's $400M in debt, how much of it is to foreign adversaries, whom he already pays more taxes to?

So some socialism is ok, as long as its for certain people ?

Guns are banned here (for the most part) and there's never been a mass shooting event here. It's about access and licensing of weapons

Interesting chat from the press secretary Kayleigh. Donnie happy with the performance, but unhappy with lack of chat about economy, 2A, abortion and SCOTUS..

I'm pretty sure the people who are concerned by most of those issues are already voting Donnie, it's as if he has no ideas to talk to others?? He's very happy in his base camp, happy to die on the hill of a one term POTUS.. awh my heart is near bleeding for him that he sees what is coming his way.

On the economy one, he needs to have a word with McConnell, and slap the life out him, he's about to lose his senate seat, yet he's there holding back from passing the second stimulus for future GOP to use against the democratic party down the line..

He stole the gun and was already being watched. He also didnt have a fully automatic rifle.

Every time you buy a firearm in America you have to fill out a 14 page background check. its 18 for a rifle and 21 for a handgun no exceptions. he could only legally own it if it was gifted to him by a parent. But it wasnt he stole it.

And yes if he wanted a gun here all he would have to do is join a shooting range . He could have a training licence until 16 and then be free to do as he pleases with it.

Donating his check while paying little to nothing in his home country and yet paying the Chinese government all those nice taxes.

I suppose he has to keep them on side seemly as they made a fool of him with their pandemic clause in the trade deal

What is strange is when people who are closer to being among the 20,000 than the elite, are advocating for a continuation of the same system which allowed this to develop.

Keep talking like that. Arrogance and condescension will really help the Dems to win votes.

And perhaps if there was no gun to steal then there'd be no mass shooting. There is absolutely no reasonable need to have anything more than shotguns, bolt action rifles, and nothing more than .22 pistols, anything more is just ideological bollix

Its weird seeing comments like this on an Irish website, do you honestly think someone from Michigan or Pennsylvania or even North Carolina is coming here to try and make up their mind on who to vote for in their elections ?

Have you ever posted on a website in North Carolina asking if you should vote for Michael Martin or Leo Vardakar ? If you did Id be very interested in their opinion and how it swayed your choice

It's the poster's attitude I'm referring to, not his location.

There's a wider problem of centrist to left-wing parties alienating the very demographics who should make up a large part of their base. Hillary did it with the 'basket of deplorables' comment and went on to lose an election the Dems should have won in their sleep. Labour UK went full-on scorched earth idpol and suffered their most catastrophic defeat in decades.

Sudan got off the United States list of state sponsors of terrorism for the low low price of reparations to victims - oh, and $3.7M to the right pockets.

How DOES he do it?

I'm not a hundred percent sure on the gun laws here but I'm pretty certain that he wouldn't have been able to simply join a shooting range and take it home with him no problem at 16 years old, and even if he did I'm sure he wouldn't have been able to kill anywhere near as many people with a smelly shotgun or rifle from one of our shooting ranges and even if he could he would have probably calmed down and gave up on the idea by the time he turned 16 given the nature of teenagers.

We are in Ireland, so I doubt his attitude is going to put off any voters in North Carolina.

But let me ask you something while youre talking about attitude, how do you think Americans felt watching their president lie on national television when he told them there was a vaccine ? Nearing 300,000 dead and he is lying to them still ?
Do you think that attitude might have an influence and not some random person on an Irish website ?

You need to specify which state - buying a handgun is very difficult in some states, and crazy easy in others.

Heck, some don't limit how many you can buy in a month.
