Rumours - Fleetwood Mac - close to perfection as an album can be. No fillers whatsoever.
Nevermind - Nirvana - the one album distillation of Grunge
    Siamese Dream - Smashing Pumpkins
Blood On The Tracks - Bob Dylan. His finest moment
    Disintegration - The Cure
Bryter Later - Nick Drake. Incredible album - more incredible that the world at the time didn’t see the brilliance of this tortured musician.
Arrival - ABBA. Every single track a gem of pure 70s pop perfection
Are You Going To Go My Way - Lenny Kravitz. Lenny at his peak here.
Revolver - The Beatles. I never ever tire of this brilliant album.
    Diva - Annie Lennox. Brilliant.
    The Bends - Radiohead.
Led Zeppelin IV - Led Zeppelin. The rule book for classic hard rock.

The bends, OK computer and the color and the shape.

OK Computer is nigglingly close, some great tracks, really love that album, but "climbing up the walls" and to a lesser extent "the tourist" let it down for me.

"let down" paradoxically is a highlight for me!

I bought this album when it came out and thought yeah, it was OK.
Been listening to it a lot recently and really appreciating how damn good it is.

IMO Only a handful of actually perfect albums and they are

    Metallica - Master of Puppets
    Metallica - Black
    Iron Maiden - 7th Son
Iron Maiden - Number of the beast

SOOOOOOOOO many albums are just 1 iffy track away from being perfect

Queensryce - Operation Mindcrime. I’ve played it to death over the last 30 years and never tire of a single track. It always gets played from start to finish.

Beck - Morning Phase. Again another one that gets regularly played from start to finish. No weak songs. No filler.

I think there's an element fan boy bias in some of the nominations. Most are great albums, but difficult to pick an album where every song is a classic - not just an average tune. An album where once a song ends you just can wait until the next song.

For me Back in Black - AC/DC is probably the only rock album that I love every song. And maybe Ten from Pearl Jam, but I am a biased Pearl Jam fan.
Seventh son was mentioned a few times, but I just don’t get Moonchild. I think Through the Never on Metallicas black album is weak.
Appatite for Destruction is a good nomination. There are no weak songs, but maybe not all classic status. Or maybe they are?
Faith No More albums are good, but I think there’s a fair amount of filler in there.
I think Invaders on Number of the Beast is average.
If live albums counted, I’d have Live after Death. Love that from start to finish.
Might not fall into the Rock/Metal genre, but for me Heartworm by Whipping Boy does it for me. I love playing the album from start to finish. I don’t know if could elevate every song to classic. But I guess it’s personal preferences.
I was having a listen to Oasis Definitely Maybe at the weekend. I’d throw it into the general mix of albums where every song is really good. Maybe not classic??
