Hi all,
Vanilla are planning an update to the site on April 24th (next Wednesday). It is a major PHP8 update which is expected to boost performance across the site. The site will be down from 7pm and it is expected to take about an hour to complete. We appreciate your patience during the update.

PP closed account and kept my money

    Has anyone any advice here - Bored out of my head, I opened an account with Paddy Power on Friday night last - I started playing 0.05/0.10 NLH and about 30 mins later I was logged out of the game. I thought it was an internet glitch but when I tried to login again my account had been closed.

    I contacted them today and I was told that their security team have closed my account due to business grounds. In relation to the funds on my account their security team have confirmed that I would not be entitled to any other funds that may have remained on your account balance.

    They won’t give me any other info other than this. I only lodged €50 but now I can’t get it back. Surely be to god this isn’t right? How can they be allowed do this? I’m absolutely livid over this. How can a company effectively steal my money with absolutely no explanation?

    Did you previously have an account with PP or Betfair that you closed or self excluded from ?

    Do you have an other account with PP?

    You can always complain to IBAS who are an independent complaints adjudicator.
