    Nightmare draw for Ashton

Group E looks the toughest to call

Group H could throw up some interesting games on paper

    Looking forward to this

Just a heads-up that the times of this are way different to the usual.

e.g., kicks off Monday afternoon - evenings sessions on Monday & Tuesday but no evening session on Wednesday coz football. Final is at 6pm next Tuesday.

Durrant battered 5-1 by Wattimena with Duzza throwing only a 78 average. He was terrible in the Winter series too.

Looks like his bout of covid has really affected him.

Wayne Warren doing the BDO proud as he just manages to get above a 70 average and finishes on a 70.08 average without a single shot a double in the entire match.

I'm fairly sure a good few posters in this forum could have beaten him.

I don't want to be harsh on Warren but that was embarrassing

I'd have a bit of sympathy, as with the BDO going kaput he won't have played much competitive darts in about 8 months.

Also probably entitled to feel a bit down in himself as his 'win the world title' dream has turned into a bit of a mare - only getting a quarter of the money previous winners did, no more BDO tournaments to be introduced as champion of the world in, and the lockdown meaning he even misses out on getting in a few £500-a-pop exhibition nights.

Price becomes more unlikeable every time he speaks.:(

So disappointing for Suzuki. A huge chance missed. I was sure she was going to win when she had 3 darts in hand.

Ratajski vs de Sousa looked like a quality match

What was Gary Anderson on about? that was a right rant he went off on

Does Anderson’s limp get worse when he’s losing...

Seems that way. His interview yesterday was very bad too, full of excuses and he accused Gawlas of cheating.

Duzza battered 5-1 again today he is now -8 on leg difference and is officially out of the tournament with a game to play.

He turned into a right whinger, accusing lads of farting, sniffling, bad back, bad knee, slow play etc etc...

    TbL

Yes, used to be a big Ando fan, but it seems these days everytime he shows up all he does is whinge and moan , should just retire and be done with it, has obvisouly fallen out of love with the game big time

  • Registered Users Posts: 2,651 ✭✭✭US2

    Smith looking good all week

  • Registered Users Posts: 13,563 ✭✭✭✭peteeeed

Lisa ashton 4-1 up but Krzysztof Ratajski treble 20 hitting deserved the game 105 average even though he missed loads of doubles was very impressive

Cant listen to lads complaining about getting paid 100's of thousands a year for playing their hobby.

Pack it in and see how a real job suits you gary.

Price is a bit of an unlikeable pr1ck but he’s some competitor, 3 legs on the spin to beat Joyce 5/4.

Interesting to see how he goes when up against sterner opposition - no doubt he is playing great and the back to back players floor tournament wins must have done his confidence a world of good

    but......

    we'll see

Van Duijvenbode really seems to lose his concentration with a bad visit. O'Connor should fancy his chances against him in players championship
