Stormy here, the sea is rough and the winds are shaking the cars. Quite dangerous even.
I seen some snowflakes mixed in with the sleet and rain .
The neighbours tropical tree has lot most of its branches.

Very windy here in Galway with very regular sustained gusts of 65 mph. I never saw waves on the Corrib before at Woodquay in the City Centre with white tops on them.

Very stormy here in Galway now had gusts of 70mph, election posters hanging of poles and flying around the place, dangerous for people walking and driving if you are hit with one.

Update on local news, Galway Shopping centre has suffered structural damage and traffic lights torn off poles.

Its bad here at the moment.
It would be interesting to have a wind sensor and a rain gauge here, although they would probably be blown away. :D

  • Registered Users Posts: 3,516 ✭✭✭irish1967

Violent gusts and sustained heavy rain here now. Noise outside is constant roar. A few large branches down in garden. Garden furniture gone. This is more like it.
