Close to 30mm here near Tralee 30 mlns ago but been raining moderate to heavy since. Very dark morning, so much so the street lights in Tralee were coming on again a short time ago.

The worse of the rain has seemed to clear through here now in Mid-Kerry --45.5mm of rain since about 1am so far today (according to my weather station) -- Roads were very very wet this morning on the dog walk ..

Got a new garage door in July - am supposed to coat it.

It needs to be dry, need two or three dry days.

Havent had 2-3 consecutive dry days, not in the past 3 months.

I can not remember in my entire life such a consistently wet period.
