Been listening to this a LOT recently. Can't figure out if the recording quality is awful or if it was deliberately made to sound stupidly lo-fi. Maybe it's part of its charm, but I'd still like to have a version that sounds as good as Second Empire Justice does.

At the minute I am listening to the new Strike Anywhere singles: Dress the Wounds and Imperium of Waste. They're from their new e.p. (out in July). It'll be their first album since 2009, when I saw them play in Galway with Only Fumes & Corpses.

Ah, I was at that Galway gig and the one in Dublin under stephen's green... that venue changed names so many times I forget all of them. Always good craic.

Mostly listening to early DKM as I'm trying to rip them off with the new band

Very cool. Street punk stuff? Have ye played any gigs yet or are ye still in the practice room?

I've been writing for the band for... 10 years on and off, but just got back together at the beginning of this year after our last practice was in 2011 Bit of a rejig of lineup. Here's what we managed to record in rehearsal back in 2011 https://soundcloud.com/bernard-mckee.../toy-guns-demo
