An infection above my front tooth has resulted in 1 round of antibiotics & a failed root canal costing me € I don't have.

I've tried oil pulling with extra virgin olive oil for 5 mins a day for the past 5 days, today I got a mouth ulcer near the infection & within a few hours it popped out of my gum & burst, I'm now in no pain  It seems to have worked & I've no idea why.

I thought the idea was ridiculous but had it in my press so thought, why not, my mouth is killing me so worth a try.

This is not a long term solution....

This thread is back....oh my god. Your infection is still there and you need it treated properly. Oil pulling does nothing, post hoc egro propter hoc.

i tried oil pulling for over 1 month every morning soon as i woke up..

it did make my mouth feel a little cleaner, but i suspect that if i have gargelled and swelled water or mouthwash around my mouth for 10 mins my mouth would be feeling just as fresh as all the old saliva from the nights sleep has been washed away and whatever...

i have one tooth that is kind of a little loose, its still loose after oil pulling..

i noticed no increase in whiteness of my teeth..

i dont have gum disease or red gums so i cant say if it has made gum disease go away or if it made my gums any pinker..

i still do oil pulling mayb one morning per week, but i dont know why,i dont know what the benefits are..

I do, there are none and you waste decent oil that could be used for a salad dressing or deep frying some mars bars or something.
