I didn't get to see it but it from the NZ coach's criticism it sounds like a) the bowler was never going to bowl the ball he was just looking for the mankad and b) it was a matter of inches, sounds very unsportsmanlike

Technically legal but what a crappy move. Feel for the Zim guys

Very tough task awaits tonight, playing SA.

Best of luck to the team, have had two good showings vs full members so far hopefully they make it three.

Why do they call what used to be the 'Plate Championship' to the '9th place play off'? It sounds ridiculous, we're having a tournament for the honour of finishing in 9th place

    Good performance vs Canada.

Anders brilliant again, now the 2nd highest wicket taker of the tournament! Averages 11!

Here's a good article by Tony Cozier defending the mankading

    http://www.espncricinfo.com/magazine/content/story/970055.html

When you think about it, it is strange how mankading is seen as so despicable when it's actually the batsman who is trying to get an unfair advantage

Good article. It's time this misguided sympathy for batsmen who don't stay in their crease was ended.
