Hi all,
Vanilla are planning an update to the site on April 24th (next Wednesday). It is a major PHP8 update which is expected to boost performance across the site. The site will be down from 7pm and it is expected to take about an hour to complete. We appreciate your patience during the update.

Draw a symbol and find the LaTeX code!

    A user on another LaTeX group posted this recently: try it and be amazed!
    A friend just pointed me to this cool site- you can draw a symbol, and then it gives you the closest approximation in latex commands:

    Aw man, there's an Android version of it. My life is complete...! :D

    (I believe there's an iPhone app as well.)

    For those of us used to LaTeX this handwritten equation recogniser may be a little pointless because personally I find it almost as fast to type out the equation anyway, but for those who are still finding their feet in the beautiful world of TeX then this is pretty much an excellent utility to have.
