There is a poster in the current affairs thread that claims the CIA have publicly announced that there is an advanced bioweapons lab in Wuhan.
They are currently unable to provide a source for that information but perhaps this thread will give them that operinity.

So the actual conspiracy is to spread conspiracy theories. Meta conspiracy theory.

Some of the CT I've seen:
Bill Gates did it to reduce the human population
China developed it as a weapon and released it by accident
China developed it as a weapon and released it deliberately. (Dunno why?)
The CIA did it. Economic war on China.

One thing that will probably happen is that it will be weaponized. Malign actors such as terrorists will seek to spread it among their perceived enemies, and it will be difficult to police against that.

It sure would be an ideal time to roll out a global VAX if COVID mutates, they've been loosing popularity in recent times (MMR etc), so this would push them back in the limelight.
BillGates would likely be able to throw a few hundred million behind a fast global vax rollout, before the end of the year.

Question. Take the risk of a flu, or take the risk of a new (rushed vax), backed/financed by Gates?

The Bill & Melinda Gates Foundation announced Jan 26th that it is immediately committing $10 million in efforts to contain the global spread of 2019-nCoV. This was increased to $100m in February for the renamed COVID19.

Of the total, $60 million will fund diagnostics, treatments, and vaccines development. Already has paid CEPI towards previous vaccines (Ebola).
He is also connected to the Pirbright Insitute, which worked on gene editing infectious bronchitis virus (IBV).

He previously stated any vaccine for a 'Pandemic X' would take up to 5yrs, so if he can rush one out quickly, will be seen as a hero.

For better (or worse) he will be involved.

So what's the real conspiracy now? An attempt to counteract anti vaxers, testing bio-weapons, accidental release from a lab

Who'd buy his stupid products then to keep him filthy rich?

If there's coin to be made in vaccination he'd be right in there from all his investments.
