I'm on my own here. Spent the day wondering just how unworkable Mr. Burns' plan to blot out the sun would be in real life.

I got burned on the top of my head whilst reading The New European newspaper (and also Viz) in the garden - very sore.

Hi all. Looking forward to continuing debate where I take a slight right of centre view on Irish politics whilst conversely supporting left of centre/socialist parties in other countries.

I crew on sailing boats for fun and the one thing they drill into you is to wear a hat when it's hot

Maybe it is the humidity? Just makes me feel tired.

Anyone else noticed that the thread title is misspelled?

I went swimming today nearly died of shock from the cold fabulous after that

Strong believer in western liberal democracy and the welfare state, I find economic history very interesting currently reading about the economic effects of the black death.

Great idea for a thread!

I'm really struggling to get a tan this year, getting plenty of afternoon sun and avoiding getting burnt, but still looking so pale compared to everyone else here

Normally I couldn't care less about being bald, but out in the sun all day without a cap or sunscreen was not a wise choice.

Kids got me chocolates, which apparently were very nice. They also got me something for nose hairs, which was strangely subtle of them.

Get a bottle of Sun Block and a Super Squirter. Fill it up and fire it at the sun. Worth a shot and if it doesn't work sue the manufacturers for misleading marketing.

Someone noticed. Actually it was a subtle play on words. An amalgamation of Expression and Espresso. I was wondering how long it would take. You get the Koala Stamp.

I noticed first but was too polite to mention it. Does he get a stamp before me?
