Rumours the boss will play here in the 3arena near the end of 2019. Not with the E street band though

I'd say we might see the return of Queen and Adam Lambert

Summer outdoor show in the RDS possibly

are they ever gonna drop the "and Adam Lambert" bit.

    Lots of bands change members/singers.
Surely there's nobody going who's gonna be suprised to see it's not Freddy Mercury singing.
And I can't think reminding people that Adam Lambert is there boosts ticket sales.

Any idea why they do it?

It's Queen + Adam Lambert, the very same way they billed it as Queen + Paul Rodgers; in that way, they're seen as collaborators, not "new" members of Queen.

2024 Gigs and Events: David Suchet, Depeche Mode, Orchestral Manoeuvres in the Dark, The Smile, Pixies, Liam Gallagher John Squire/Jake Bugg, Kacey Musgraves (x2), Olivia Rodrigo, Mitski, Muireann Bradley, Bruce Springsteen and the E Street Band, Eric Clapton, Girls Aloud, Bruce Springsteen and the E Street Band, The Smashing Pumpkins/Weezer, P!nk, Pearl Jam/Richard Ashcroft, Taylor Swift/Paramore, Suede/Manic Street Preachers, Muireann Bradley, The Bothy Band, AC/DC, Deacon Blue/Altered Images, The The, blink-182, Coldplay, Gilbert O'Sullivan, Nick Lowe, Public Service Broadcasting, Crash Test Dummies.

Mmmm I think it works for both parties. Adam Lambert wants to keep building his brand and getting his name out there and Queen want to retain their brand as a four piece (albeit with two now).

As a huge Queen fan, I've avoided seeing these iterations of their tour but I think after all the great reviews, I'll finally bite the bullet and go so hopefully they'll play next year.

Is it too much to hope for that they’ll play Slane 2020?! Seen them both times they’ve played here in 3arena and Marlay Park and they were fantastic. Really hoping they come back next year.

Do Explosions in the sky have any songs with lyrics?

I'd just know their Friday Night Lights stuff

No, don't think so (samples with speech would be about it)

The FNL stuff is very representative of their usual stuff

Westlife planning another UK/Ire summer tour for 2020

Doing a nationwide one would be up there alley
PUC in Cork or Thomond Park
    Perse Stadium Galway
Nowlan Park Kilkenny (Instead of a Dublin gig)
    A Northern Irish outdoor venue

Yes likely to be Croke Park again with Cork, Belfast and Galway also

Dublin will be the first venture for Slipknot on their 2020 tour, they've sent around a cryptic email that's easily sussed, Dublin followed by Manchester so no Belfast for those wondering.

So expect official confirmation quite soon.

Gojira, volbeat and behemoth supporting in the states on the current tour.... now that’s a lineup that I’d be very interested in if that’s what makes it way here.

Especially gojira I think they’d put on a fantastic show in any anywhere near full 3 Arena.
