Always impressed with the ones in France. They tend to be a one stop shop for everything. From a pair running socks
to camping gear- general sports/athletes - climbing- horse riding- cycling- canoeing- diving- fishing- shooting and on and on....

It's a jack of all trades, but even in France certain departments are more intense depending on the region. In one shop the hunting dept may be small, but in another region its more extensive.
I have bits and bobs as well as clothes from thier own brand and have found them fit for purpose.

I’ve got a few bits from them also, a pair of trousers that cost €14.99(in Spain) I got 3 season out of them, I’ve the wellies too there very comfortable, looking forward to popping in, but wont be for a while yet.

Does anyone know if they will be selling ammunition at their Irish store?

Iv only seen air rifle pellets and shotgun cartridges in their Spanish shop so I wouldn’t be holding much hope of ammo here.

I’m very impressed with their own brand gear and their prices. Iv got bags and camouflage gear etc and I’m very happy with it. Kids got their boots and for scouts and everyday use and they are holding up very well.

I got a pair of boots two years ago in Spain (not their own brand) they were £250 sterling online in England and €120 euro in Decathlon Alicante

It’s very easy to spend money and max out your card there 😂

    Lidl on Monday the 15th, Wildlife surveillance camera's - E89.99, Auriol bins 10x50 - E19.99, and 1080p action camera's (like a go-pro) E29.99.

Has anyone had the surveillance camera before? Can it stream to your phone? Or have you to go collect it and upload?

I have two of these...bought them the second last time they had them...about 2 years ago...and they were €39.99 each then.

You have tio go to the camera and upload from the card.

Thery have a brilliant battery life...last full season.

Quality & sensitivity is good and very clear.

The only down side that I can see is that the infra-red is a series of red LED lights at night ...easily spotted by anybody passing as they come on when movement detected.

That doesn't bother me.....we wanted them to see if poachers were hunting the grounds during the day...so I just covered up the infra red screen with tape...worked perfect and practically invisible.

Even though thse cameras come with a camo pattern - it never matches the Irish greeenery.

I put some duck tape around my outer case and tore off bit of strips from my camo net and glued the strips to the tape on the case......breaks up the rectangular outline and blends in perfectly....works a treat........practically invisible then

Called into the new Decathlon in Ballymun today. I was really disappointed with the range on sale in the hunting department. The only stock visible was clothing, boots and backpacks. There were no gun slips/cases, knives, optics or cleaning equipment - all of which is available to order for delivery from decathlon.ie

It makes me wonder if the problem is limited space or a fear of negative public reaction?

You're lucky enough that the parcel motel is only across the road from you but I get that " we'll get it in for you " regularly also

"Good".Most reviews either written or on YouTube seems to give them good reviews for the price you pay for them. They seem to be cheaper in ardee than in England which must be a first. It seems a great starter semi auto.

Went looking for a specific hat the other day and as usual ended up buying everything but a hat, couldn't resist at the prices though.

Holland Country Clothing, Clearance sale might be worth a look for anyone looking for a bargain or just some retail therapy.
