Clayton wins the final against Heta. Most in form player at the minute and in with a shout for the UK open next week

Any idea how much money he picked up this week he is in flying form?

Roughly 24.2k in total. Not bad for a weekend's work

Some darts he's played in fairness, 3 finals in 4 days

MvG pulled out of the Spring series of the pro tours next week.

The Spring Series 2 starts today with 4 days of pro tour action.

For those that don't know, the PDC offer a 4 day package to watch the action for only £2.99. It's well worth it. See the link below:

Mostly perfect, the stream did drop the odd time. There'es two streaming boards you can choose from. You do have to put up with Paul Nicholson on commentary though!

William O'Connor and Ciaran Teehan both won their first round games. Keane Barry lost to Zoran Lerchbacher. Lisa Ashton bet Aspinall

  • Registered Users Posts: 2,651 ✭✭✭US2

Delighted to see Lisa Ashton beat Aspinal. Aspinals form really is gone . Aaron Beaney in the money again so is Ciran Teehan.

Bet Adrian Lewis now plays Michael Smith

Dolan vs Michael Smith in final. Dolan has played some darts today, Smith relatively comfortable route to final apart from the semi against Soutar

  • Registered Users Posts: 1,994 ✭✭✭boomdocker

Great win for Dolan, played great darts all day
I think last time he won a pro tour he won two on the spin?
Interesting to see how he goes tomorrow

    Draws today for Irish contingent

    O'Connor vs Labanauskas

    Lennon vs Soutar

    Barry vs Luc Peters

    Gavin Carlin vs Ted Evetts

    Dolan vs Geert De Vos

    Teehan vs Michael Smith

O'Connor, Lennon and Teehan bad draws

Dolan off to a great start again today

  • Registered Users Posts: 1,706 ✭✭✭Dillonb3

O'Connor and Lennon both out. Early exits as well for Adrian Lewis and Barney

Dolan still going, plays Gerwyn price in semis

  • Registered Users Posts: 6,621 ✭✭✭ThebitterLemon

Dolan has been playing really well recently.

Fair play to him. Hopefully he’ll change his shirts :)

Could have beaten Price, couldn’t take out 89 for the match

    He’s playing very well.

    Agree “the history maker” FFS!!!

Never surprised by Brendan Dolan, an absolute class act of the game. Has the game to beat absolutely anyone.

    yes indeed
Seems as if he has sped up his throw a good bit

This has made a huge difference to his game. Dolan was sliding down the rankings but since he has sped up his throw his game has improved massively. His throwing big averages and beating top players. It's probably the best he's ever played.

I've said it before and i'll say it again, the standard in these floor tournaments is outrageous
Gerwyb Price made a good point yesterday - said he beat Joe Murnan 6-5 - world no.1 v world no. 129 - murnan could/should have won
That doesn;t happen regualrly in other sports, but does in darts such is the depth of talent
I suppose the short format games also play a big part

Dolan beaten today, didn;t play so good; i see Snakebite beaten in rd 1 despite throwing a 101 ave

I know it's a while away, but Willie O'Connor is just outside qualifying for the World Matchplay.
If he is to do so he really needs to get a bit more consistent on the floor.

He was in the qualification spot but his poor form since world championship has him dropping down the rankings

Didn't know he had starting throwing quicker used to get it hard to watch him.

Steve Lennon is still in today, into the L16 now. Good to see him go on a bit of a run.

Another thing I've notices is how poor Glen Durrant and Adrian Lewis are doing. Durrant is going to plummet down the rankings this year. Lewis struggling to stay top 32 at this stage.
