Please note this forum is currently operating a zero tolerance policy during the Six Nations Window. This is will be in effect from today [01/02/21] until after the tournament ends.

    What does this mean?
In a nut shell this means that any breach of the forum charter will be dealt with infractions or bans. All that we ask is to please consult the charter, respect your fellow posters opinion even if you disagree with it, back up your opinion in a reasonable manner, and never attack the poster. Mod’s decisions are final and it is at the mods descretion if a straight ban is warranted; the usual warning to ban policy is not in place.

    Why are you doing this?
From time to time in the interest of varied discussion we would let certain breaches slide - however as regulars know the forum can become a difficult place during international windows due to so many unique opinions that are strongly argued. Often with a popular tournaments we welcome an influx of new posters, as such sometimes these posters may not understand how the forum operates. If we gave everyone the benefit of doubt the lines become blurred very quickly... we believe this is the fairest way to keep the forum operating smoothly.

As of now, the rugby forum will be modded on a zero tolerance basis. This was formerly the custom during busy periods such as the 6N, when we experienced an upsurge in trolling, baiting and general breaches of the "Don't be a dick" rule. Recent discussions have outlined the need to revive this.

New posters please read the forum charter and familiarise yourself with the rules of the forum.

Regular posters, please abide by the rules. A long history in the forum does not grant you power to ignore said rules, or immunity from consequences.

We are all Ireland fans, let's remember that. Inter-provincial BS will not be tolerated.

We all get invested in arguments online at times, but let's not let this forum descend to Twitter levels of vitriol. If you find yourself getting annoyed and typing fast, have a read of your post before you click Submit, put yourself in the other poster's shoes and ask yourself is this conducive to constructive debate? If in doubt, please don't. We don't like warning and banning people, but we will be doing it a lot more if you don't follow the above advice.

    Thanks
