Hi all,
Vanilla are planning an update to the site on April 24th (next Wednesday). It is a major PHP8 update which is expected to boost performance across the site. The site will be down from 7pm and it is expected to take about an hour to complete. We appreciate your patience during the update.

Most competing-days per year

    Weird one in my head...

    Which sportspeople would have the most competitive action days in a calendar year?

    Like, a professional footballer would maybe play 50/60 games in a season.
    Including playoffs, an NBA player could take part in 90 games in a season.
    An MLB player might play as many as 120+ games in a year.

    Conversely, which sport would require the fewest number of playing days?

    Surely NFL or CFL would have the shortest full length season?

    If a golfer was available to play all the matches open to him they would be up there if they were good enough to make the weekend days.
